Degrees of Customization Available
At HORN, customization using Specificity
Orientation comes in degrees; however,
all programs fall into one of two categories:
adapted or custom-built.
Adapted
Adapted training consists of tried
and tested HORN models interlaced with
client-specific information, including
examples, scenarios, and case studies.
These programs are highly customized.
Though they contain existing materials
(from HORN and often from clients themselves),
they are sequenced, arranged, and adapted
to reflect the reality of each participant’s
workplace. In this way, our adapted
programs speak the language of participants,
insuring that every concept contained
in the training session is applicable.
Custom-Built

Custom-built programs contain new content
developed in collaboration with our
clients. We carefully define the precise
skills and behaviors that need to be
enhanced or adopted and sculpt a program
around them. Everything, from cognitive
content to prescribed learning exercises,
is assembled to fulfill specified needs.
All HORN training is further customized
onsite. Our facilitators are learner-centric.
They continually check in to determine
the needs of participants and adapt
accordingly. They are skilled at taking
the necessary detours required to keep
participants engaged, aware, and learning.
Our mandate is to ensure that training
sessions are rich in content, context,
and value. As a result, our sessions
are dynamic, enjoyable, interactive,
challenging, and, most important, relevant.
